Purpose: To teach children some important rules for their personal safety.
Objective: Students will show that they know important rules for personal

LESSON TWO - DRUGS: HELPFUL OR HARMFUL (1-2)
Concept: Medicines and common household products contain drugs (chemicals)
and may be helpful or harmful.
Purpose: To help students recognize how medicines and common household
products may be helpful or harmful.
Objective: Students will identify ways in which medicines and common
household products may be helpful or harmful.
LESSON THREE - LEARNING TO SAY NO (1-2)
Concept: Learning to say no means knowing when a situation is unsafe,
saying no, getting away, and telling someone.
Purpose: To help students learn how to say no in response to pressures
from peers and adults to do something they think may be unsafe or harmful.
Objective: Students will demonstrate that learning to say no involves
knowing when a situation is unsafe, saying no, getting away, and telling someone.
LESSON FOUR - DEALING WITH ANGRY FEELINGS (1-2)
Concept: Dealing with angry feelings in acceptable ways can help people
get along.
Purpose: To help students identify acceptable and unacceptable ways to
deal with anger.
Objective: The students will demonstrate positive ways to deal with
feelings of anger.
